Ingredient identity and research context

Hayashikane Sangyo supplies Bonito Elastin Peptide (BEP) from skipjack bulbus arteriosus. Elastin and collagen are different proteins and should not be treated as interchangeable ingredient names.

The manufacturer describes a double-blind, placebo-controlled skin study in healthy Japanese adults aged 30–50. Participants received 75 mg BEP daily for 8 weeks, followed by 4 weeks without supplementation. Improvements were reported in right-cheek elasticity and moisture measurements. This study dose is not a finished-product recommendation, and results cannot automatically be extended to every formulation.

Before procurement, assess ingredient grade, active content, COA, microbiological and heavy-metal specifications, fish allergen statements, traceability and target-market requirements. Capsules, sachets and beverages require separate stability, sensory and compatibility assessment.

Specific trademark permissions, applicable patent numbers and current patent status must be verified with manufacturer documents. This page does not claim ACC owns the patent or holds exclusive distribution rights.
