Strain identity and formulation assessment
BNR17® is a specific Lactobacillus gasseri strain. Verify the complete strain designation and authorized source rather than applying evidence from other L. gasseri strains.
A 2018 randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial enrolled 90 overweight or obese adults for 12 weeks. The 10^10 CFU/day group showed a significant difference in visceral adipose tissue area versus placebo. Findings apply to the study conditions and do not guarantee individual results or establish a disease-treatment claim.
Product development requires end-of-shelf-life viable counts, carrier and allergen information, storage temperature, moisture-barrier packaging and stability assessment. Korean functional-ingredient recognition is not a health-claim approval in other markets. Finished-product labels, strain authorization and applicable patents require separate verification.
